Great recovery from Sanne Thijssen & Genasis: second in ABN AMRO Prize

A brilliant recovery from Sanne Thijssen and her Echo van ‘t Spieveld-gelding Genasis after an unlucky tumble yesterday: this morning the Dutch rider managed to score a second place in the ABN AMRO Prize at CHIO5* Rotterdam. She stopped the clock in the two phase course over 1,40 meter in 31,76 seconds.

American rider Lucy Deslauriers won the test with her ten-year-old bay gelding Billy de Beaufour (v. Allegreto), finishing in 29,65 seconds. Third place went to another Billy: Billy Cool (v. Billy Congo) and her rider Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen. The Norwegian combination finished clear in a time of 32,37 seconds.

Fourth place was for Maikel van der Vleuten and Jorden van de Kruishoeve (v. Nabab de Reve), fifth went to Angelie von Essen and JB’s Hot Gossip (v. Cheers Cassini) and sixth to place was Rolg-Göran Bengtsson and Zuccero (v. Zirocco Blue VDL).
