Werth dominates first test Nations Cup of Rotterdam

German rider Isabell Werth dominates the first test of the Nations Cup Dressage at CHIO5* Rotterdam by being the only combination scoring above 80%. With the sixteen-year-old Weihegold Old (v. Blue Horse Don Schufro) she was unanimously put into first place by the judges, scoring a total of 80.717%. The second place went to Hans Peter Minderhoud and Glock’s Dream Boy N.O.P. (v. Vivaldi), scoring 77,148%. Edward Gal and Glock’s Total US (v. Totilas) ended third, having their test rewarded with 76,717%.

The fourth place went to German rider Dorothee Schneider and DSP Sammy Davis Jr. (v. San Remo) scoring 75,413%. Fifth place is voor Dinja van Liere and Hermes (v. Easy Game) for The Netherlands, with teammember Marlies van Baalen and Go Legend ending sixth.

This means the team from The Netherlands is taking the lead in the FEI Dressage Nations Cup, with Germany in second and Belgium third. Their battle continues this Saturday with the Grand Prix Special at 16:00, followed by the Freestyle at 19:00.
