Another win for Gal in national GP Special, Van Liere second
No surprises in today’s Kalfsbeek Prize at CHIO Rotterdam: just like yesterday Edward Gal takes the lead in the national GP Special, with Dinja van Liere and Thamar Zweistra in second and third place. This time Gal and Glock’s Toto Jr. N.O.P. (v. Totilas) scored 76,872% with Dinja and Haute Couture (v. Connaisseur) in close second with 75,660%.
Thamar Zweistra and Hexagon’s Ich Weiss (v. Hexagon’s Rubiquil) scored 73,468%, only just placing above Denise Nekeman and Boston STH (v. Johnson TN) with 73,064%. The fifth place was for Zweistra and her other horse: Hexagon’s Double Dutch (v. Johnson TN). They scored 72,191%.
With the last dressage competition of the day completed, it’s up to the showjumpers to make their rounds. We’ll start with the Dura Vermeer Prize over 1,55 meter at 15:30, followed by the Port of Rotterdam Prize over 1,45 meter. The Friday at CHIO Rotterdam will be all about jumping too, starting with the 1,40 meter ABN AMRO Prize at 09:00, followed by the AON Prize at 12:00 and then the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup of The Netherlands starting at 17:00.
