Dancing Queens on point

It was a party from the beginning to the end and topped off with the best champagne shower we have ever seen. The defending champion, Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, will wear the crown for another year after yesterday’s victory. But the real dancing queen of the World Cup Final, in our opinion, is the one and only Isabell Werth.

She was just on fire and wowed the crowd from the first hoofbeat on. The audience was absolutely amazing and cheered on during the Freestyle. Isabell even managed during her Freestyle to suggest to the spectators that they could get wild, and so they did. An extremely high degree of difficulty that won them 93 to 95 percent for artistic marks and made them reach 85.761% and the bronze medal.

Twinkling eyes

Isabell just loves her job and her ride, and we think this power woman inspires everyone in Omaha and behind to make fun in life. At the press conference they asked her: ‘If you have to pick one or two movements that your horse really enjoys, what would it be?’. “Forward and backward”, she says with a big smile and twinkling eyes. We told you, she knows how to add fun in life.

Showman of Dressage

The greatest Showman of the Dressage night was for sure Steffen Peters. The home crowd went nuts and tapped their feet after the amazing performance of Mopsie and his rider. A Freestyle filled with trending pop music and beats perfectly suited Suppenkasper and made them reach 83.921%, a personal best and a fourth place.

A party

“Everybody was so ready to explode, just like me,” said Peters, a former World Cup champion, of the finale to his ride. “Today everything worked out. Mopsie was so perfectly with the music. It was a party from the beginning to the end!”

French music

On their road to Paris, TSF Dalera BB and Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, danced the night away on French music. The pressure was there, after the amazing test of Jessica’s compatriot Isabell. But the defending champions lived up to the expectations and scored a massive result of 90.482%.

Big smile

A smile from ear to ear and yes, she had many reasons to. A personal best of 87.146%, after just entering the stage with Blue Hors Zepter 4 months ago. What would the future bring for this amazing couple?
