Dutch chef d’equipe Schellekens-Bartels announces her EC Ponies-team

Dutch chef d’equipe Imke Schellekens-Bartels just announced her team of competitors for the European Championships for Ponies. The Championships will be held from August 10th until August 15th in the Polish city of Strzegom. The selection will be formed by Veelre van Hof with Equine Parks Xander, Jill Kempes with Next Black Magic, Bridget Lock with Don Davino Horsepoint and Ilse de Wilde with Falco. Sopie van der Steen will be the reserve rider with her Yellow Boy.

Imke Schellekens-Bartels: “I’m excited to be heading to Poland with two ‘veterans’ and two newbies. Veerle van Hof was part of last year’s Children-team and Jill Kempes and her Black Magic already represented our country in last years Pony-team. Ilse, Bridget and Sophie will make their debute at an international championship, but I’m truly confident of their capabilities and look forward to the coming weeks!”

The selection for the Dutch Ponies jumping- and eventing-teams will be announced soon: their Championships will be held simultaneously to the EC Dressage.
