Orange podium Freestyle Young Riders: triple gold for Marten Luiten

The Dutch rider Marten Luiten rode a fantastic FEI European Championships for Young Riders in Oliva Nova. After winning the gold medal with his team and an individual gold medal, today he also managed to nip away the gold medal in the Freestyle with his wonderful Fynona (v. Ampere). Again the Dutch combination managed to score ten’s for their canter half-pirouette and a lot of nines on the jury protocol, including for their halt, rhythm, harmony, choreography and interpretation of the music.

Luiten’s wonder horse Fynona is a daughter of Ampere out the mare Wynona RB by Stable 104 in the Dutch town of Wijdewormer. The full brother from Fynona, All at Once, will compete at the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo with rider Yessin Rahmouni.

The YR-podium at Olivia Nova coloured completely orange. The second place was for Thalia Rockx and Golden Dancer de la Fazenda (v. Bretton Woods), who danced to the tunes of Avatar to a score of 78,050%. Milou Dees and Francesco (v. Florencio 2) were in the lead for a long time with a score of 78,005%, but eventually had to settle for third place.
