In the picture: Sunshine on the opening day of CDI Exloo
A sunny opening of CDI Exloo in The Netherlands today. The first class of the day, the CDI1* Prix St. Georges was won by Joyce van Rooijen-Heutink and the Apache-gelding Gaudi Vita. The scored a percentage of 71.765%. Marten Luiten and Killer (s. George Clooney) finished second with 70.500% and Quinty Vossers scored 70.471% with Inferno (s. Everdale).
Marten Luiten did manage to win the CDI U25 Inter II riding Fynona (s. Ampere) with 74.510%. This time Quinty Vossers finished second with 72.010% riding Hummer (s. Charmeur) and third place went to Diana van de Bovenkamp with Excellent Black (s. Painted Black), scoring 71.764%.
The Young Horse-competition for five-year-olds was won by Nanny McPhee, ridden by Judith Ribbels. The scored a very convincing 83.000%. Belgian rider Aure Spleeters finished second with the Daily Diamond-mare New Diamond (79.800%) and third place went to Cecile-Esther Vicente Borgmann and Nequeen (Glock’s Trafalgar) from Spain, scoring 78.800%.
The competition for six-year-olds was won by Marjan Hooge riding Don Diny with a percentage of 83.200%. Mufasa riden by Lotje Schoots finished second with 80.400% and third place was for the Finish rider Mikaela Soratie with Legend Dynamite, scoring 75.200%.
The opening day was completed by the CDI3* Big Tour Grand Prix. Marlies van Baalen won the class with Habibi DVB (s. Blue Hors Don Schufro) scoring 73.978%. Second place went to Marlies as well, noting 72.522% on the scoreboard with Go Legend (s. Totilas). Hans Peter Minderhoud and the Jack Sparrow-stallion Invictus finished third with 72.239%.
