Update: Lamborghini wederom foutloos in Blom Cup 5-jarigen – 🇬🇧
De prachtige terreinen van Tops International zijn vandaag wederom het decor voor het KWPN Kampioenschap om de Blom Cup. De vijfjarigen mochten vandaag voor het eerst op de imponerende, recent aangelegde, graspiste.
Aan de start verschenen 113 combinaties, die zich opmaakte voor het parcours gebouwd door Henk Linders. Het lukte 24 combinaties zowel vandaag als gisteren foutloos aan de finish te komen. Waaronder de kampioen van vorig jaar: Lamborghini.
Morgen is de beslissende finale, waar de beste 40 over beide onderdelen zich voor hebben gekwalificeerd.
Kardinaal HX
En net zoals gisteren wist ook Kardinaal HX, de kampioen van de Blom Cup van vorig jaar, de 0 vast te houden in de tweede omloop van het KWPN Kampioenschap voor zesjarigen. Tops International is momenteel het podium voor de beste jonge KWPN-springpaarden van Nederland.
101 zesjarige springpaarden stonden voor vandaag op de startlijst. 34 combinaties noteerde zowel vandaag als gisteren een foutloze ronde. Morgen mogen de beste 40 combinaties over de eerste twee dagen terugkomen voor finale. Waaronder drie nakomelingen van de Grand Prix-hengst Zirocco Blue VDL, alsook twee nazaten van F-One USA. Die slechts een gering aantal merries heeft mogen bedienen alvorens hij naar Amerika is verkocht en werd geruind.

Today again, the beautiful grounds of Tops International Arena are the backdrop for the Blom Cup KWPN Championships. The five-year-olds were allowed to go on the impressive, recently constructed grass arena for the first time today.

And just like yesterday, Kardinaal HX, last year’s winner of the Blom Cup, also managed to keep a zero on the score board in the second round of the KWPN Championship for six-year-olds. Tops International Arena is currently the stage for the best young KWPN show jumpers in the Netherlands.
Exactly 101 six-year-old show jumpers were on the starting list for today. Thirty-four combinations scored a clear round both today and yesterday. Just like with the five-year-olds, tomorrow the best 40 combinations from the first two days come back for the final.
