Another win for Dennis van den Brink at CSI Exloo
After winning yesterday’s evening class, Dennis van den Brink proved to be equally as sharp in this mornings early opening class. Riding I Am (v. Etoulon) the rider from The Netherlands won the CSI2* Small Tour Bakker Bart & Katoele Subsidie Experts Prize in great fashion. Second place in the 1,30/1,35 meter-class went to Megan Laseur and the KWPN-mare Ivysinaa (v. Labor’s VDL Indorado). Bas van der Aa and the NRPS-mare Isla Ibiza (v. Douglas) ended in third place.
The CSI1* Small Tour Eemsned & Voermeester Prize was won by Miranda Spronk-Rienties and Falonie RWL (v. Comme Il Faut 5). Second place was for Doron Kuipers and Helvetia Moeders W (v. Otangelo), who shows to have a brilliant weekend in the Dutch town of Exloo. Jennifer Munsterhuis and Hurrican M (v. Verdi TN) ended in third.
John Steeghs won today’s CSI2* Medium Tour Stal de Prize, riding Monty v/d Withoeve, a nine-year-old chestnut gelding out of Enrico v/d Withoeve and a Major De La Cour-mare. Second place was for Madée Schuttenbeld and Nikias v/d Bisschop (v. Echo van ‘t Spieveld) and third place went to the Norwegian rider Oda Charlotte Lyngvaer with Hello HX (v. Afellay).
Due to a incredibly saddening incident during the jump-off of the CSI2* Big Tour Sodiak Horsetrucks Prize GP Qualifier, the day was signed off without a prize-giving ceremony. On paper, the class was won by James Billington for Great Britain, riding Goldenstar. Lars Kersten and Halilea ended in second place, Glenn Knoester finished in place three with Alpicor.
