Herning: Starting order Grand Prix Dressage published
The starting order for tomorrow’s and Sunday’s Blue Hors FEI World Dressage Team Championship Grand Prix presented by Helgstrand has just been drawn. Forty-six riders will compete tomorrow at day one of the championships and the rest will ride their first test on Sunday.
In front of the many participating nations chefs d’equipe and team staff the Danish Ground Jury President Susanne Baarup led the draw for the starting order of this weekend’s competition. Prior to the draw, the chefs d’equipe of the federations with a stake in the team competition handed in the order of go for their riders. Nineteen nations have a team on the start list, although three nations only have three combinations: Japan, New Zealand and Norway.
When there is no team in place and a combination starts individually, the draw is conducted according to the individual rider’s ranking.
Reigning world champion Isabell Werth will defend her 2018 gold medal on Sunday afternoon, riding DSP Quantaz. The Danish Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour and Vamos Amigos, who’s got a hopeful home crowd supporting them, will also compete Sunday. Find the complete starting order over here.
